Well it came as a longblock assembly right? If you really wanted the best bang for your buck I would say get a set of the 100% CNC'ed patriot stage 3 LS6 cast heads that are complete with dual patriot golds and titanium retainers and 2.00 and either 1.60 or 1.55 valves. ( I can't remember what they are) but they will still give you some 30-40 rwhp + in conjunstion with a t-rex you would be 420+ range and over 400 with tq. I think that those heads are like $1,299.00 or something to that affect. But if you do that definitely check into the 90/90 like we discussed earlier.

Probably not a discount. I think it is around 499$ for one of those 2 and LS1 Edit might have gone down in price, but i am not for sure. I havent heard anyone talk about it in a long time.

They have better flow overall. I have a set of LS1 853 castings that I would gladly sell you for next to nothing that way you wouldn't have any downtime if this is your DD.

It is no problem...I like helping other people out. plus I am more of a night person than a daywalker....wife is sick so I don't feel the need to contract strept throat.

Yeah man. I would send them to you for like 100$ shipped. Texas to Alaska is pretty pricey as far as rates on shipping go i think.

Sure thing, I will hang on to them for as long as i need. I have a buddy that is wanting to get an LS1, so I might have a different set by then if he ever decides to drop the hammer.

T-ReX v.2 - 242/248 - .608/.612 - 110 lsa 3500-6700 RPM Power Band. Violent mid-range & high RPM power. Requires computer tuning, 4000+ converter on autos, 4.10's or greater on manual trans cars. Due to the fast ramp rate of this camshaft, the use of 1.8 rockers is not recommended. Due to the extreme nature of this camshaft, piston to valve clearance must be verified when using modified cylinder heads.

sounds pretty ballin to me! violent sounds like a good word to describe it after looking at the dyno graph. and i can get this in one of there packages too thats really nice. thanks for steering me in the rite direction, can i PM u if i ever need help?
