Would it be okay to install a cam (say tr 224) without Lt headers. I know you should have headers but the problem is I am hot for orders, I have been at my current base for 7 years and know I will be leaving soon. I do not want to put Lt on then get orders to a state where I cant have them. I will put them on eventually, but would it be okay to install a cam like that on stock manifolds, I know i will not see as much power gain but I should still get some?? thanks

 

You will see some gains but not to the fullest. You also have the ls1 intake holding you back as well.
