Man, I thought I was as clear as I could possibly be about what I'm looking for. Somehow SouthFL.02.SS seems to be one of the few people who seem to get it. I am not a 16 yr old kid trying to impress people by having a cool sounding cam. I don't care if people think my car is "fast". Personally I have always liked the sound of some noticeable lope. I'm trying to mod my car to make it the way "I" like. As I stated before, I don't have the luxury of trying out numerous cams, that's why I'm trying to get it right the first time. I do appreciate the feedback I've gotten, so keep it coming.

XER 226°/226° .585"/.585" 111° LSA +3° (108° ICL).
That will have almost the same IVC event as the XE 224° 110° +4° (106°ICL) to build monster torque down low. The larger duration at .050", faster lobes, and higher lift will generate more power. The 111° +3° will have a slightly broader power band than the 110° +4°.

Aren't Futral cams known to be very "un-lopey" cams. Even the bigger F13 doesn't lope as hard as my TR224/112. They are known for great driveability though, so that satisfies one of the requirements you have.

I have a hot cam in my 2000 TA - most bolt on's with LS6 intake. I made 388 this fall - under 6k rpm as well, but pulled well up to 6400. Torque was like a table top at 360-370ish, I think it was over 300 ftlbs from 2k to 6k, peaking at 4400k. My numbers may be a little higher than some hot cam numbers, but quite a bit of tuning time is in the car. Lost dyno sheet . . .
I live in a state with no 1/4 racks and I don't like to mess with the 1/8th. I can't launch on street tire and don't want slicks as I don't want to replace the rear any time soon, therefore the car never goes to the track nor do I "street race" more than 2 or 3 times a year. Car does run strong and 4.10's make it a blast to drive. It is basically my fun summer car with a great lope - sounds kind of like what you are looking for. I have the idle low so it lopes like a race car which is what I like.
I am considering a set of the LS6 heads hitting the boards recently to run with the hotcam (until I put in the ASA that is), but don't have much time for install with house construction.
