There have been a few people that commented on this, and the general consensus that I gathered was that IF you are using the 6th bolt, you were running something that was most decidedly not N/A, and you could up the boost to easily compensate for any flow restriction (as the heads would actually stay down if you did crank it up).

Now...my question. Knock sensor placement? Side of the block like the LS2? If so, I'm guessing the LS2 valley cover might fit? Maybe not?

You have never seen heads raise on a dyno? It takes a stout combo in most cases.

I am very interested in the new heads that will be available. When will we start seeing some flow numbers and ofcourse dyno/track numbers with these heads. If they are as good as I was told, they will be very interesting.

I just talked to World Products. They said early march is when the LS7x stuff will be available. He also quoted me 100lbs for the weight of the 4.000" bore, 9.240" deck height block.

knock sensors are on the side of the block, not in valley.
Top head bolts are in intake port below level of floor (just like SB2 Nextel Cup heads).

so how does the plugs work? I assume since the cup heads are like that then it will work but how do you control the turbulance?

There aren't plugs over the head bolts, the head bolts are just below the surface (exposed) on the intake ports. With the combos that will be built with these blocks and heads (mostly power-adder setups), there isn't really a concern for any turbulence caused by those small pockets. Look at how well the SB2 stuff performs with the same setup.

There are plugs actually, but they are for the "access hole" that the heads have so you can get your wrench in to tighten the bolts. The the intake ports actually have two holes in them. And your right, the exposed holes in the intake ports should neglidgibly(sp?) reduce air flow. I'm sure they can bee filled in with something.

The block can have up to 6 bolts per cylinder. Obviously you will have to run their heads if you want to have this. But I imgaine you can also run GM catherdral style LS1/6 heads also and just have four bolts per cylinder.
