Default Were absolute speed Stg II heads milled?

I got a set of AS stg II heads used and put them on my car. They have worked great, but now I am looking at a bigger cam, and need to know if AS milled them. I really dont want to pull them again to check PTV clearance, for just a cam swap. I was able to get 410+ rwhp with a 224/224/116 cam .558 lift. looking at something like a LG G5X2 cam on a 114.

Anyone know

It depends on if the buyer had them milled. I say chances are pretty good they were, but who knows. even if they were not milled, they may have bigger valves as well. I would check fot PTV, there is a method where you don't pull the heads to check. I believe Comp sells a kit where you use a different spring in place of your valve spring and you push down on it and measure the clearance at different timing itervals.

ptv is one of the most crucial check on a cam swap. why skimp out on that? If its wrong, the motor is trashed upon first start up. fine you can save a few hundered bucks by not doing it, then youll be paying thousands later for a motor rebuild.

I got the 5.3's with no milling. If I had gone with 5.7's I would have milled. What is the 3 digit part number on the head? Were the heads his CNC heads or the hand heads?

Jay recommended a cam in the .575 zone for the heads that I got.
