Default Starter install

I had the motor out, so the ground has been removed. Well, I was watching the drivers side and not the passenger side the motor came out...so I didn't see where the ground goes.

Working on getting the starter back on the car. There appears to be a large red wire (large post on starter), and small purple wire (small post on starter), and a large black wire (ground).
Where does this ground get bolted to the block?? Motor mount?

Also...anyone know if I need O2 extenders for Kooks longtubes?

So....I am not putting the A/C back on it.
Can I use one of those bolts to ground that starter ground?

If I recall, there was no ground wire hookup when i replaced my starter. I believe its grounded simply by being bolted to the engine. I think you only need to hook up the battery wire and the ignition relay wire.

As for the o2 extentions, i believe all long tube headers require extentions. Personally Id swap to the bosch 13111 (rear vette sensors) that way youve got the higher wattage heaters.

On the starter solenoid there are three posts. Two large and one small. The small wire going to the ignition goes to the small post. If the starter is facing how it should go into the engine then the left big post is the positive battery cable and then the starter ground connects from the starter motor to the soleniod. Now the negative part of the battery cable will connect to the engine block above the starter.

Thanks for the response guys.

I did get the starter connected fine, but it was the ground that I was worried about. I kept the AC off the car, so I just used one of those bolts for that ground.

Bosch O2?? Can I order these from Checker/AutoZone?
They are the C5 rear O2's right??
So I have an idea....what do they normally run cost wise?
