Default T-Rex Cam - what else do I need?

I have lt's, a 4k stall from Yank and the manley dual springs, dual titaniam retainers, hardened 7.4 pushrods etc. and also am getting arp rod-bolts. Do I need anything else to run this cam?

I'd get a LS2 timing chain, NGK spark plugs, and finish up the rest of the bolt-ons.

Get a gear. You will need it if you don't have it already.

Don't forget "the ***** to spin it to 6900 on a stock bottom end."

screw the bottom end, if you are on a 10bolt rear end, get ready to go boom.

Forgot to mention, and this is VERY important, its a must

Get a ported ls6 oil pump AND A NEW O-RING from thunder racing or some other sponsored shops

Everytime mine runs it see 7000 at least 8 times. First gear through fourth, turn around and repeat. And on the 10 bolt with 410's and 315 Nittos on the back. I second the oil pump.

I installed a TRex in a car for a friend. 10-Bolt 4.10 Gear... It's a badass car. Made 422rwh through a clogmaster catback.

Well, I didnt say that it would "break" but ARP bolts should be fine. The rods can handle that sort of speed. I would do it on stock rod bolts just because though... But some people do have a freak 10 bolt that hangs in there way longer than the avg.

Patriots are great. The kit is around $250, and you get everything you need, new bases, seals, retainers, and locks. Aside from what you have listed, you need all the replacement gaskets, bolts and tools if you're doing the work yourself.
