Just as an educational example, would the softer lobes of the higher lift cam be easier on valve springs than the aggressive exhaust lobe of the lower lift cam, given the durations we're looking at? The subtractions of .050 from .006 are bolded.

The added lift is going to take your springs closer to coil bind, but that's what they are intended for. That's why there are coild bind limitations on the spring. I believe the aggressive opening and closing of the stiffer lobe is going to have a bigger effect on spring wear vs. lift. Both cams would last a while, but your exaust springs would go out long before your intake springs on your first cam listed. I personally wouldn't run the second cam because of the very lazy lobes it's ground on. This in conjunction with it's size would make it a pooch on the low end.

Thanks. Exactly the kind of info I wanted to hear.
I'm forcing myself to learn how to read a cam card (beyond .050 duration, lift and lsa) and learn more about valve events. After 6K posts, you'd expect me to know a 'lil more beyond calling out "F13 is what you need!"
