Default Hessitation......stumbling problem

Sup guys.... well this is the deal. This morning when I went to take my daughter to school I noticed the car like missing and stumbling at low throttle position. But when I open the throttle a lil it like kicks in and works fine. I remember something like this before but I don't quite remember what it was. Any clues??

thanks

Check your sparkplug wires. They occasionally become unclicked.

Perhaps the spark is grounding to the header, but as you get on the throttle, the wire is making proper contact with the electrode again? I dont really know, but strange stuff has happened. I once had a plug wire that cam off and would miss above 2400 RPM consistantly but fire fine below that. Then last week I had the opposite where it missed at idle and fired fine above idle.

mine did the exact same thing after a sparkplug change. ran HPtuners and discovered #4 cylinder was misfiring. checked the BRANDNEW ngk plug and it was slightly bent when compared to another one. changed it out and she purred like a kitten again.

so it sounds like a spark plug issue to me.

Yep that's what it was. My Bank 1 sensor went out and my comp was compensating and dumpin fuel into the motor to make sure it didn't run lean and after awhile it began to run normal. (guess the comp figured it out). But I just changed the sensor out.

thanks for all the input.

mine was doing the same thing. my SES light came on for bank 1 o2, so i put the car on a lift and checked both o2's out....and well, they both were black from when i ran open headers. i had a spare o2 lying around so i changed one sensor and left the other alone. so far i havent gotten any more SES lights, but occasionally it will hesitate and miss like you described in the first post.
