Default .561 lift too low for Stage II heads??

With stage 2 heads, would .561 lift (int/exh) produce similar hp #'s as a cam with .58x lift? Basically, if .561 lift on a cam too low of a lift for stage 2's?

We have guys making just as much RWHP with a TR224 that I think is .561 versus cams that are up to .588 and the lower lift is far more reliable.

now brian,

What do you think about a low lift cam as a 53x lift cam with say ur 1.5 heads? How much are you missing out there with lift??

I think .53X lift would be a little too low for stage 2's, I am running that kind of list w/stage 2's, but I'm getting a blower put on.. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
