LQ9 in 98 camaro

LQ9 in 98 camaro im putting in my LQ9 this weekend.....i know the intake manifold has to be swappd to my ls6 but is there ne thing else i need to change over? I was told i have to use my ls1 alternator, a/c comp, etc...but i also heard something about the water pump....do i have to use a ls1 water pump or can i leave in the stock lq9? Any sensors need to be swapped over?
yea
u have to reuse ur f-body balacer
the truck balancer has a different offset than the
f-body/y-body
the belts are a lot further away from the timing cover
use your stock wp
the truck wp has a differnt hose setup
just take alook at both of them side by side and
uwill see the diff
it will prolly cause hose configuration prob
if u use lq9 wp
oh and take a look at the knock sensors
i have used truck engines from the salvage yard and have found a few
rust damaged knock sensors for some reason
some have even fallen apart for some reason
also u will need to reuse your stock oil pan/pickup/windage tray
all the sensors should be the same
crank/cam etc.
u have to reuse ur f-body balacer
