Default Jesel 13mm bolt, setting lash ect...

Got 2 questions/problems. The Jesel Rockers have a 13mm bolt that holds the stand down to the cylinder heads. I have tried everything from a 1/4 to 3/8 6 and 12 point socket and can't seem to find one that fits down into the recess for the bolt. I have a total of 4 stands and they all have the same size hole. Anyone have any ideas?

We're going to set the valve lash on the motor cold to fire the motor. How much should you increase the valve lash on the motor considering its cold? The cam company says .016 and .018 lash.

I had the same issue. I just took a regular socket and beveled down the outside face to fit into the pocket of the stand...

Thats an old set, best to put a socket in a lathe and turn it down. You might call Jesel and see what the new Torx bolts cost.

Look at your cam card and make sure you know if they want those lash settings set cold or hot. If it doesn't say you need to call the cam manufacturer and ask, although I'm pretty sure if they don't specifiy they mean hot.
