most people run the 225 head,but LG-motorsport told me the 205 head would be a better choice to gain almost the same power but alot more tq in the motor over the 225 head. anyone using this combo?

 

You will need to have the head chamber bore opened to 4.030, I think , to get the best air flow... maybe less, I cannot remember. Trevor at TSP was talking with me about it a few months ago...

A friend of mine is running 205's on his LS2 402 with a TSP magic stick cam & fast 78 intake. Car runs great. No dyno #'s on it. Stock A4 and he does not want to blow it. He does plan to go 225's & fast 90 w/ NW TB.

 

You should PM Tony Mamo @ AFR about it.. He can tell you EXACTLY what you should do.

 

lg motorsports has been testing different combos(header size,cams,heads on 400ci ls2 motors) and they told me the 205's will make only slight less peak hp but more low and mid power and alot more lo-mid tq over the 225 head. anyone doing this would be nice to hear from.
