Default what to get with tax $$ cam or gears?

I have an 02 z28 A4, with slp flowpac, pacesetter lts, true duals,
it's put down 329 rwhp, and 340 rwtq,
and 427 rwhp and 470rwtq with the 100 NX shot,

I'm getting tax $ back, so should I put a cam in there or get gears for it?
it is definately a daily driver so driveability is a concern.

if you have 323 gears, i vote stall and cam.

if you have 273 gears, i vote stall and gears.

if you can only choose one - regardless of the gears, get a stall.

choose your stall from future plans..cam.

I figured someone would say Stall first, just not everybody!,
what kind of 1/4 improvment do you get from a mainly street occasional strip stall, let's say something under 3600 rpm,
and do you need to get the pcm tuned for a stall?

A converter is the best bang for your buck but don't forget about tuning and a tranny cooler.

i'd guess at least .6 in the 1/4. and yes, a pcm tune would be greatly desired, but not absolutely, positively needed with a converter that small.

i dropped .55 off of my 1/8 mile BEFORE a tune. i think now that i've got a tune i'll be close to .7 lost, just in the 1/8...

I understand that the stall would make the car quicker and make it get down the 1/4 better, but will it be slower from a roll?

I would rather have the car that traps higher in the 1/4 than the one with the better ET, I drive it on the street much more than the 2 or 3 times yearly at the track,

no, it should be faster. just pertaining to my stall...from a 10 mph roll, i can pull 3 cars on a z28 that traps 4 mph faster than me in the 1/4, and it takes him to almost 80 mph to catch me again. also, i've raced a car that i am dead even with from 60-100....from a 30 roll in 2nd i will pull 1.5 cars immediately and then we even out. this particular car out-trapped me by 1.5 mph BEFORE the stall, now we are even. the less stall speed the less damage the initial hit will cause. (ie maybe a 3600 stall only pulls out 2-2.5 cars from 10 mph, etc)

I did alot of research myself on the topic and came to the conclusion that in an A4 car, gears and T/C will be the best bang for the buck. I'm putting in 3:73 gears and a 3200 T/C in my A4 corvette. I will be putting in the F13 cam in by june but first things first, get the stall and gears to accomadate the cam you will get. Good luck

I appreciate all the help and suggestions everyone's giving,
I know it depends on the stall, but what kind of $$ are we talking about for
stall, install, tune, and maybe gears + install,
