Check out the PRC 2.5 R's. Hand finished. I just put a set of these on my C5 and I'm impressed. Call Jason at Texas Speed.

TEA Stage 1.5 5.3's or TEA Stage 1 5.7's

The 243 castings from Livernois and Patriot look good also.

Would those be equivalent to the LPE GMPP LS6 heads?

^ They're real LS6 castings, CNC ported. Patriot has its own proprietary CNC prting program I presume, so they're not going to be exactly like GMPP heads, but it's a similar product in terms of casting and what's done to it.

The price kicks ***.

Okay, so who offers a better deal and better performance?

Patriot Performance Factory 243 Patriot CNC ported Stage II assembled heads (Ferrea 6000 series 2.02"/1.57" stainless valves, Patriot Gold .650" Dual Springs, Ti Retainers, Super 7 Locks, Viton Rubber Seals, Machined spring Bases, and Bronze Valve Guides) for $1395

or

ET Stage II heads listed in their posted link (Bronze valve guides with interlocking valve seats with our CNC valve job. Parts that are installed are REV 2.055/1.570 Super Duty Valves and Patriot GOLD Valve Spring kit.) for $1350?

.100 67/58
.200 131/115
.300 190/154
.400 244/187
.500 281/209
.550 297/214
.600 305/222
ET aftermarket heads rock (best in the business IMO), but these 5.3 flow numbers posted in that link aren't too stout compared to others in the market.

Our heads are an excellent value. The Ferrea valves are a high quality valve. The Patriot Gold springs are among the best springs on the market. The flow on these 243 castings is terrific. When you purchase these you will get a flowsheet that is specfic to your set of heads. We also offer additonal milling at no extra charge. When it comes to great quality at the best price, our products are hard to beat.

Vote here for Dart. Smaller runners than most(205cc) for good torque for your heavy beast and smallish chambers for good compression out of the box(62cc).

I called TEA about their stage 1 5.7s and it sounds really good for small cams on a budget $999?!

Where would Bob's Precision Ported Heads fall in line with:

Stage III ported, polished and coated heads with new stainless valves, cc 918 springs, coated chambers and coated valve faces

Bob says his Stage III's are closer to Stage II's, but so far no one has told me which of these companies heads perform the best for the money.

I would ask Bob about his stage 7 heads, enough of being a smart ***. I just see the term "stage" being a gerneral over used term, meaning what?

I'm liking the idea of Patriot 243 heads, they use good valve springs.
