Default good head shops?

I have been looking for a good shop to complete stage 2 to 2.5 work to my bare LS6 heads. The block is ready and the rotating assembly is being balanced. In a few weeks the lower end will be complete. I see some shops have stock castings already semi-ready, so it is more of an exchange/core charge. On the others, I guess you send them yours and wait (how long?)
What are some good shops you have dealt with? Recommendations are welcome.

I'm sending my bare 243 castings out to Patriot Performance and so far they've been a pleasure to deal with! I'm getting them milled, cnc'd, and a valve job.

Gunnar answers all my stupid questions and he seems to be a cool guy. Take a look at their most current deals they have going on. They're pretty hard to beat.

Patriot, TEA, PRC, LIVERNOIS amongst some of the current head war lords.

Patriot is running a top notch service right now.
TEA is hands down kick ***.
MTI is ok from what I've seen, but my money would (and has gone) to TEA.
480rwhp out of a set of TEA Stage 1.5 5.3L heads speaks for itself.

TEA LS6 2.5 has good flow numbers, and decent price
on the vette forums, people have stated that the flow between runners have been @ 15% off at times
TX Spd owns PRC? The prices look sweet. I wonder if they will work on my cores, cause I think they state they use new GM ones.
I do not need 3 pairs of heads (stock Ls1, bare LS6, and a new set )

jfrc2000, If you have some bare LS6 heads to use as cores Jason@TSP can get you an even better price.

I'm going to be running the LS6 heads on my car as well. After seeing the flow numbers with stock valves (before valve-job and blending), I was sold on them.
