Default thunder racing and 1.85 rockers

Who uses 1.85 rocker arms on thunder racing cams.
On there web page it says not to.

if you do, how'd it working out ?
I have the TR224 cam

The best aftermarket rockers to put on with that kinda lift is Crane 1.7 (Gold) variable lift cam.
You'll benefit from low lift increase without affecting high lift stability & geometry.
You can read about them in VINCI web as well as Crane web (I know some of you will see 1.7 and say we were asking about 1.85, so read to understand the way these rockers work)

You'll deffinatlly want to make sure you have the springs to handle the added strain on the valvetrain.

FWIW, I'm running crane gold 1.8's on a .578 lift cam.... no probs for several thousand miles now.
