ls1howto.com has the install for the yella tera (sp) rockers. I would think the install would be the same. Hope that helps.

I used the HELMS method.

Install all the rockers, keeping them on the same valve they came off of. Finger tighten the 8mm bolts holding them down. Again, there are two ways to tighten these down, The Helms way, and mbaskett way.

Helms method: With the engine in the Number 1 Firing Position, tighten the following rockers.
Exhaust valve rocker arm bolts 1, 2, 7, and 8 to 22 lb-ft
Intake valve rocker arm bolts 1, 3, 4, and 5 to 22 lb-ft
Rotate the crank 360º and tighten the following rockers:
Tighten exhaust valve rocker arm bolts 3, 4, 5, and 6 to 22 lb-ft
Intake valve rocker arm bolts 2, 6, 7, and 8 to 22 lb-ft

mbaskett method: Tighten all rocker arm bolts to 20 lb-ft
Turn car over with the starter.
Go back and tighten all bolts to 22 lb-ft

Make sure that the rockers are sitting squarely on the top of the valves.

Replace valve covers. Be sure to connect the two hoses on the passenger side, and the single hose on the back of the driver side cover. Use new gaskets. Tighten the four 8mm bolts on each side to 106 lb-in (8.83 lb-ft).

Hope this helps.

What is the reason to place the rockers back on the same valve they came off of? I ask because I just replaced all of the pushrods on the passenger side and when I fired the car up there was a new noise, metal on metal like. Kinda like fingernails on a chalkboard every few seconds. I tried to put everything back where it came from but I may have mixed up two of the rockers.

I normally unbolt all the rockers and leave them on the rail so that stuff doesnt happen. Just set them in the valve cover up right for the correct side.
