I put down 410rwhp on stock heads. I am putting in a forged 347 with some nice heads(not sure exactly what yet) and I am hoping for well over 450rwhp. FM14 cam is a really nice cam, and with decent heads should see some great numbers. Futral for the win once again.

Just put this cam in my Z06 last month. The car made 423rwhp and 408 rqtq. Besides the cam I had the TB ported, underdrive pulley, full exhaust and a air cleaner. Allan did the tune at Futral and it was dynoed on thier Dynojet.

Hey sigforty, does Allan let you get a baseline pull before work is done and how long did it take for him to tune it and how many pulls did you get during the process.....just curious because i am going to FMS from here in abilene monday for my cam install etc.

I am sure if you ask for it he will get you a baseline. I had mine from August when I had the car tuned so I did not need one. Depending on how much you are getting done and how busy they are it could be a day or a week for the install. I had my car done in about 6 hours. Allan had it installed, ported TB and underdrive pulley done in about 5 hours. It takes about an hour to tune it. With the tuning Allan makes pulls untill it stops making gains. I think he only had to make 2 pulls to get mine done. If you have some other questions give them a call. I know Blake and David do alot of the phone work for Allan and both are very knowledgable.

I am planning on AFR 205s and the F14 cam this summer. If you are gonna be waiting a while before you make your purchase, my results may be what your looking for. Stay tuned......

I would love to see some results with this cam and a good set of heads in the mean time though.....somebody out there post up!

I've got an F14 and a set of 5.3 custom heads with 2.02 intakes, titanum retainers, dual PRC gold springs...unfortunetly they're still on the bench and not in the car.

I've also got a ported TB, long tubes and will be buying an UD pulley. I'm hoping for anything above 430, hopefully 440ish. Should be doable as long as I keep my valves out of the pistons

still have stock heads here. getting it dynoed real soon. will post numbers when done. Plus I'm A4 w/4.10s. I will tell you this, in a a4 untuned its still streetableish and it pulls like a ****.

I have a good friend that has a Evo8 with 370awhp. We went from a dig, I was able to hang with him on the the launch and pulled 1 1/2 cars on him by the end of the 1/4. we have a little track setup here..Ssssshhhhhh

No it doesn't, I promise When you get it tuned you'll go "Wow, i was driving a POS golf cart untill now"

When mine was untuned, I put about 200 miles on it. Drove it around town a little before i drove over to houston for the tune. It felt like it diddnt even want to run over 4500, which is about all I cared to rev it to untuned. Now it comes on pretty strong, then feels like someone hits teh spray at about 4k

No my lifters are not stock. I pulled my heads and replaced them @ 100k chasing down a tick. I went back in with Comp 850's. With only 77k, you should be alright. Everyone knows you'll be putting new heads on after a few months with just the cam

If you're really worried about it, i'd suggest picking up a set of ported heads along with your new lifters. They are getting cheaper every single day. With the way prices are dropping, we will be at SBC/SBF prices this summer

The $900 ported 243 castings are tempting.
