Do you absolutely need a timing chain set with it?

It would also be a good time to buy an underdrive crank pulley, and install it if you don't already have one. Powerbond and ASP both make nice underdrive pullies.

FAST setup would not hurt either.

I have the same on my f14, 6800 rpms on mine. It uses stock sprockets, but has much beefier links than the stock LS1 chain.

The PRC valvespring KIT comes with springs/retainers/seats/seals. Very high quality pieces IMO.

Your're also going to need a new front cover gasket, cranshaft seal, and oil pump pickup tube O-Ring.

Its not a bad idea to do to shim the oilpump pressure relief for a little extra oil pressure.

What you really need is to sit around and read the boards for a few hours. Visit LS1Howto.com for a complete install guide/parts list.

It really depends on how big of a stereo system we're talking about. I have a stereo system with 1 Premier Competition 12" sub that's hitting 150 db with the gain turned all the way down on the amp. I haven't had any issues with charging with my Powerbond pulley.
