They're the same design with smaller intake valves and the combustion chamber is cast at .030" lower for a 61.3cc chanber vs. 66.67 on the 5.7 heads. So a direct swap will bump your compression aup to around 10.9ish, but will reduce your flow....not a great return on the labor investment. However, worked 5.3 heads with bigger valves can be a great combo.
