12 pt Head studs torque specs

since the search seems to be broken, im posting this. does anyone have the torque specs handy

70 ft lbs for the 1-10 bolts and I think 15 ft lbs for the bolts that go under the manifold (it's either 12 or 15 ft lbs).

My ARP instructions said 70 ft lbs if you are using ARP moly lube (which is what I used). I did it in 3 passes, 50, 60, 70. Top row goes to 22 ft lbs.

thanks guys! thats all i needed!

for the records too, ARP calls for 63-65 when using an aluminum block, 70 with the iron, i remembered that, just not the specs for the small studs.

Damn, you're right. How did I miss that? I just checked my instructions- 65ft lbs for aluminum. I'm over torqued!

JMBLOWNWS6 - not sure as to the ramifications to that, but you probably shouldnt have them that tight, thats more than they call for on the iron block.
