Valvoline ZR1 Racing oil??

Valvoline ZR1 Racing oil?? I know that most of us in here use the Mobile 1 in our cars; however a local mechanic said that I should try The Valvoline Zr1 SAE 60 Racing oil. Have any of you guys ever tried it out?? Is It even safe for the LS1’s?
