The dremel, while it can be used in certain areas, is simply too anemic to do any of the serious hogging out.
You can find a cheap 1/4" grinder for $50-$75, plus you are going to need an aggressive and fine burr at about $50 a piece.

Heads arrived today

They are filthy, all I've done so far is remove some of the carbon from the chambers with a paint removal beater to get a better look at them. I cant wait for my port/polishing supplies to show up

I play a guitsboy original! In addition to a few other guitars. Ive got:

My Baby (built from scratch except the fretboard)
carvin bolt kit (built myself from a kit)
American strat plus
carvin cobalt c750 acoustic
Guild madiera acoustic
Old silverstreet elec.
Old nylon classical
Big box of misc. parts I could probably build up another guitar or two.

Here's the guitar project link if youre interested.

Its a hollowbody thinline telecaster. Its got two dimarzio humbucker pickups and a fishmann pickup under the bridge. The acoustic pickup active electronics are in the back panel. Its wired to let me switch from any combination of electric or acoustic pickups, or blend the two sounds. I reshaped the neck to my liking too, although it would have been fine the way it came. Im really happy with the way it cam out, especially since it was my first stab at it, and i really didnt know what i was doing. Theres a few flaws in the lacquer and a little dig in some of the body binding where it meets the neck, but over all it came out nice. Its by far the best playing guitar I own.
