Default comp adjustable shaft mounts... any advantage?

i've done a few searches on a few sites, and havent found anything usefull. are the adjustable shaft mounts really any better than the factory rockers? any power gains or valve float issues? i was looking at the comp set. thanks.

I also looked at these recently as a potential replacement to my Cranes. From what I can gather (no search function) the original Comps had some issues. I "think" the new ones are made by T&D. They require some elongation of the pushrod holes in the heads (head removal required) and also spacers. For now, I am staying with my Cranes since they are easier to deal with. Crane is also coming out with shaft mounts at the end of the year, but from what I understand they too will require some modifications to the head.

I do not see the need for shaft rockers untill 6800 rpm+
Better than that would be a valvetrain girdle.
If your geometry is on the ball and valvetrain properly specked, IMO shafts are overkill for the majority of our combos.
