I'm going to have a custom grinder grind my cam cause i'm no expert... But.....
Just for "discussion/hypothetical/what if/learning/*****&giggles" purposes.
Road Racing application TRACK ONLY Never ever on the street
3500-6900
347CI
11.5:1 compr,
Heads intake 260(.400)==>315(.600) , exhaust 75%-80%
1 3/4 longtubes(HVMC)
90mm ported fast intake & Tb .
just pluging in numbers on the jrod VE calc from various grinds out there and came up with this:
DCR is 8.6
Should i keep my day job
feedback on camshaft VE's only please.

Cam looks good, although I think the IVC is too early to take advantage of the heads you're talking about running. You'll do better with an IVC of 46 degrees ABDC because it will put your power peak closer to 6300 and it will put your overlap directly over TDC. Currently, your cam is exhaust biased meaning it will be torquey, but it will run out of steam pretty quick. Put the cam in at 108ICL and you should be good to go.

I would grind it on a 110+0
Then using a QTP 2 piece timing cover with a Crane adjustable timing chain.
Then do live testing and advance/retard for best application.

I do belive it would have to be a Comp Timing chain, QTP does not support double rollers like the crane.
