Default Adj Pushrod Tool question

I just purchased a crane adjustable pushrod tool to measure my desired pushrod length. It arrived and before I opened the package I noticed that on the package it measures for 7.5-8.70" pushrods.

Is this correct for LS1's? I thought the stock pushrod length was 7.350-7.400" and if you have your heads milled (My 72cc AFR225 were milled to yield 66cc) and/or block decked wouldn't the pushrod length be shorter, not longer? I didn't wan't to open the package unless I knew for sure.

The one you need is here:

http://www.thunderracing.com/catalog...vid=3&pcid=106

at the very bottom of the page. verify that the part number is the same and if it's not, then I'd return the one you have.

Get the Jesel adjustable pushrod length checker. If you need a 7.400" one, I have an extra from crane I'll sell pretty cheap.

I looked at the Crane's and couldn't find one the proper length range so I got the Comp version from Thunder. It was backordered though. Byundspeed may be able to get you one quickly if you need it.
