ported stock 241 heads

would it be worth it to port the stock 241 heads? how much would it cost and how much hp gains would i see?

Yes it is worth it to port the 241 casting heads. exact HP #'s I can't say, but depending on who ports them, they flow well.

im having my buddy do a set of stock ls1 heads. I cant wait to see how they turn out.

I've seen 320+ on the 5.3 truck heads my self. Ide do it. Espically if you've got someone who know's whats going on.

Dude, you cant just ask for gains. They range from 5 HP to 40HP or more depending on how god your head porter is and how well they interact with your current mods. Youre far better off having a reputable LS1 shop port them out rather than having a local shop do it.
