No really the 30 SVOs are really alittle bigger in an LS1 LIke they said a 34 or something but, cause 42s are almost the same price theres no real reason not to get them. they will ahve a lower duty cycle (wich means not have to work as hard ( possible last longer humm)) and there is no down side to a bigger injector.
you can always upgrade , add a dry kit whatever and you will be ok with the 42s

Over injecting a motor is unnecessary and counter productive.
The fuel distribution in a bigger injector is different. What you want is the best atomization (the smallest particles) of fuel you can have to mix with air for best results.
While bigger injectors will help at top rpm feeding, the bottom ones will suffer and that is where you spend most of your time.
Please get off this bigger is better. In a motor you need the RIGHT part not the biggest you can fit to make it go faster.

SVO 30's
I see you have a Racetronix pump, did you get the harness with that?
If not, get the harness, that will get you a 62 psi at the rail.
And for the future, get a regulator at the rail with a return line, that way you can adjust for presure at WOT and maintain that 58 psi needed.
Wet doesn't need bigger injectors.

That is exactly what I'm talking about.
just for your info, I run SVO 30s with PNP racetronix 255, harness and FPR at rail AND I shoot up to 200 dry.
NA I'm at 72% duty at WOT and I only max out 97% on a 200 shot (for a measely 10 sec).
That is ~ 620 rwhp
That is to show you how important keeping 57/58 psi at wot is or your injector size.

I run a Racetronix one.
No, since you're shooting wet, I needed it more because i'm dry (dual stage)

How were you measuring your AFR?
Was this being tested at the tailpipe after the cats?

It's funny how you think I was WRONG and RIPPED you off. Yes, I should spend time on tuning a car with way to small of injectors. Yea right! Like I said get bigger injectors and I would redo it for you, to bad you didn't listen to me and then ran your mouth. Guess you can't please everyone!

Well, I dont have any dyno numbers yet. I just wanted to post up and tell the man congrats on his cam and heads install. Good choice on cams, I have one and sick uptop power. Good luck on the injector issue cause I am sure I have the same issue, just havent checked it yet.
