Not getting power to the purple wire on the solenoid Why not?!?! When can i test this w/ the test light. I must have accidentall been getting the test light on the power cable. Starter relay is still good. But this still is not sending power to the starter to turn it over!

TTT everyone.
I have a new battery, new starter, so i know these arent my problems, it isnt anything mechanical. So it must be electrical somewhere.
The black boxes behind the dashj- do any of them have anything to do w/ the ignition? If so which ones? (ones similar to that of the integrated body control module but smaller)
The starter relay is still good, i put it in my trans am and it started right up. So i figure its within the sensors or the wiring. I'm not sure if the purple wire to the starter solenoid is supposed to get power but even when i crank the key there is NOTHING. I can jump start it but that is how i blew the OE starter, and i am hoping this is not going to cost any/much more $$.
Could anyone depict exactly what goes to the ignition circuit? or explain. Long explanation or short it doesn't matter i really need to get this to work!

TTT with any help anyone? What wires would be there to look at for the most part...colors etc. Wondering about the black boxes still, also, there is an unplugged connection w/ a black and gray wire? where would this go i cant seem to find it!
Have someone turn the key while you check to see if the solinoid gets any power with a multimeter... At least you'll know if it's a wiring problem or a starter problem...If it doesn't get any power, there's probably a bad connection or mix-up somewhere.
Sounds stupid, but helped me figure out why the 69 z wouldn't crank.

New discovery, pulled out relay, took a wire from the battery post (+) and connected the other end to fuse box where the purple wire connects- kicked over the starter. So the problem lies within the Green, Yellow/Black, or RED wires. from what i can see
here are some progress pics...you can see the diff wires, the bypass of the safety switch and the one connection that is not connecter w/ a black/white wire and a gray wire...

try unpluggin the clutch saftey swith and jumper them together, and try fire it up. also test yellow wire under dash base of steering. ign switch with a teat lamp that test lamp should light when turning key. also try switchin another relay.

nope stock master cyl. new slave cyl. however. I pulled the HVAC etc, radio you name it from behind the dash. Now i need to figure out whats going wrong going INTO the fust box to trigger the relay for the starter. Like i said the Purple wire sends power to the starter, but i dont know if the other 3 (RED, GREEN, YELLOW/BLACK) wires are doing there job, nor do i know what the Black/white and Gray wires are to go to under the dash (IN THE PICTURES YOU CAN SEE ME HODLING THE CONNECTOR) BUMP

There is a BLACK rectangle looking button that the clutch pedal hits when its put to the floor. That is the safety start switch. you can kind of see it in the middle of your second pic. it has two wires coming out of it a green and a looks like pink or light purple. they have a blue cap on the connector.
you can get under the dash and hold that "button" down and try to start the car. MAKE SURE ITS NOT IN GEAR!
The reason i asked if you put a new master in is cause if you put in an adjustable master in you might have it adjusted to where when the pedal is all the way down it bottoms out before it touches that black button.

Where do these wires lead too (purple and green?)
Where does this wire connect to?
The connector I am talking about that is unplugged is...
(see it unplugged)
it has one black wire and one gray wire
Also does this box.... have anything to do w/ the ignition? or is it the DRL Relay?

And does this have to do the ignition? if so what wires?

Here is the fuse box w/ the starter relay

It seems to be one of 4 wires, PURPLE (which i know is sending voltage down) RED, Green, or Yellow/Black.
