Well, it's kind of funny 20 months ago I was the biggest import gearhead you could think of. I bought my GTO cause I worked at a Pontiac dealership and wanted a new car and reliable transportation. I'd never heard of the LS1 nor what they were cable of.
Fast forward to present day and with the help of this forum and ls1gto and some of the best in the business(Ed Curtis,Tony Mamo, Cary from et, and Bryan from LME) my car finally came to life.
We started it up yesterday without an issue. The car doesn't want to hold an idle. We adjusted the rpms to 1100 and it will hold there. I'm tuning it myself so I'll get it sorted out today. I'll be tuning the car in SD mode and will have dyno numbers for you guys soon. I wanted to tell all of you thank you for helping me piece this car together. Many people had a hand in it as I'm no engine builder. Enjoy the vid, and I'll repost the specs of the motor as well in case you missed some of my other threads

Man, that sounded sweet! I couldn`t go with as big of a cam. Mine being A4 would have killed me. Almost everything else is the same as yours. We got my port LS90 back and there bolting it in right now. I can`t wait. Im going to take some pics today! I`m just about to bust a nut. You have got to be feeling the same!

GTODOUG, That set up looks awesome. I am going to basically build one for my camaro just like yours. I was wondering what oil pump you are running, and what gas you are going to use, 93 octane or 100 octane? I was wondering what format your video was becauseI can not open it? Thanks
Patrick
