my point exactly. i cant tell you how many times ive seen a stroker small block chevy rod bolt[head] touched to clear a cam that wasnt ground on the correct base circle to clear the rod.
ive NEVER seen a rod bolt failure from grinding the head of the bolt/screw within reason.
