Exclamation 427 cid

im buying a 427 6.0 iron block, it comes with custom made JE forged pistons ratio, Eagle 4340 forged steel crankshafts, Eagle 4340 forged H beam rods, JE plasma moly file fit rings, Clevite HP performance bearings, Durabond cam bearings,GM rear main seal and housing and internally balanced, my question is can i use the rest of the stuff of my current stock ls1 block off my 98 z28 to to get this thing running, im planning on porting the heads and getting a camshaft new, but can i use the rest of stuff, thnx?

you can use the other stock parts. it would be recommended to upgrade your intake, oil pump, cam, heads (& lifters, springs, valves) and the whole exhaust system

You should defintely buy some new heads and cam. A 427ci requires a LOT of air to get out decent power. There is no point in getting a big cube motor and not having enough head, cam, and intake to feed it.
