Default Z06 Cam??

Ive been doing some research on cams alot lately and Ive seen alot of z06 cams for sale for descent prices.......Is it worth it how much would I gain and do I need new springs, injectors, etc.? I know a good tune is a must with a new cam and thats not a big deal I know a guy who tunes LS1s for a 100 bucks because he has one himself and he charges Mustang oners out the *** LOL

If you are going thru the hassle of swapping in a bigger cam.... I wouldn't put in a tiny Z06 cam. A Z06 cam is like 204/218 and .550" lift and would give more power.... but why not go bigger as you are leaving power on the table.

I daily drive a 233/239 .600/.603" lift cam and love it. It pulls like a raped ape from 4-7,000.

Depends on how cheap u can get one. I got my cam, springs, and retainers for like 150. While doing the work, I wish I would have gone bigger, but its a good lil cam. Idles stock, and pulls pretty damn good from 4500-6600. If you get a deal, do it.
