Default new kid cam question

ok guys i have just started doing some research on cams... i have an idea of what i want but am not very educated. what im looking for is decent power for a daily driver. I checked the sticky and did some research and am leaning towards the TR 224/224 112.
Its a M6 car, so would the 112 LSA be the way to go?
Any other suggestions?
Im a newbie with this stuff so thanks in advance for your help.

That cam would work great for a DD. Has a good sound to it, and you will definitely notice some power. you are going to want to change springs, retainers, and pushrods.

Im thinking about the package (springs, retainers, and pushrods) they offer with that cam, or do you think i should shop around? Thanks for the quick response

thunder is a very good choice. I know about 4 people that have done the package and have seen some great results!

Your other really good option would be to find a used cam. That type of grind is very popular in the for sale section. The only problem that you might have will be the fact that you need something bigger on down the road. Like me

Thats what im hoping for! ... just thought of one more question. On the Thunder Racing site they say that that cam (the TR224/224 112) for an automatic requires a tune and nothing about the M6. Will i need a tune? Also, i have the predator tuner, but would i need a dyno tune?

You will need a tune if you want to get all you can out of the cam. Otherwise you will probably be ok -10rwhp with no tune on an M6.
