does anyone know how much hp and torque gain is with a stealth or stealth II cam ? compared to a lpe gt2-3

I have the SII, but it's still sitting on my work bench. Should be in by mid march. I've seen anywhere between 390-405 rwhp.

 

Predatorz had the Stealth II in his car for a while. I decided on the cam because of some of his replies to a stealth cam thread. Mabey he can chime in when he see's this thread.

i think predator-z with the stealth cam and mti 2e heads he made 401rwhp.. thats with a tiny cam too..

Stealth II is a great cam for someone with headers and a free flowing exhaust. If you have stock manifolds and cats, that is not the ideal cam for you nor is the TR 224 cam.

I'm not a fan of the LPE cam, but it may be a better choice for you. The TR Cheater would be even better.

 

both the TR224-114 and Stealth II are good cams, can't go wrong with either.

cams I've tested out in this order:

TR 224/224 .563/.563 114 lsa

TSP MS3 237/242 .603/.609 113 lsa

Comp cams 224/228 .581/.588 112 lsa

MTI S-II 224/220 .581/.581 116 lsa

For the price I like the TR-224 cam package, all but the MS3 were very similar

You really should get a set of LT's and at least a catback to take full advantage of the cam.
