How much does a 408 weigh and who to ship through? The title says it all. Whats the 408 longblock weight and who are you guys shipping through. I bought one private party. Im wanting to do air freight since I live in Hawaii and dont want to wait a month for the boat to show up. Thanks for the help.

One option I used to use when I was in Hawaii was air freight directly with the airline. You can go to the Delta Air Freight terminal near the airport and talk with them. I had a converter there one time the next day for less than $50. The sender will have to get the item to an airport though.
I shipped a 408 short block (iron) about 2 years ago. I made a pretty solid crate from wood. It all weighed about 385 pounds if I recall correctly.
