Why the change in oil pressure?

Why the change in oil pressure? I've had my car for about 2.5 years and it always ran a steady pressure of ~45 all through the RPM range. About 4 months ago (70k) the oil pressure moved up to 60 and it will steadily climb when I give it gas and lower when I let off. Nothing is wrong with the car, I just didn't know what caused the sudden change
