change my springs? I have 8000 easy miles on my since my H/C install. Was wondering if I should do them now or put a few more miles on them.

BTW, I have no way of checking spring pressure.

Me? I'd change them just for the mere fact the heads are off the car. Screw that cowl ****! Plus, no worry about falling valves, compressed air, removing spark plugs, etc. I know it's only 8K on the springs but resetting the clock for the cost of springs is the way I'd go.

I went ahead and changed mine... you can guess what cam I went with...

Change them, most recommed 10-12K anyway...
