Spring, valve or plug?

Spring, valve or plug? engine sputters and and surges under accel, during normal driving starts to buck, gurgles and backfires, no power and eats gas (more than normal). heard what sounded like clicking and tapping from the engine after decel. so spring valve of plug? no work was done to it lately.
