Default correct rod and piston size on ls1?

what is the correct rod and piston size for a stock ls1. I am trying to upgrade and there a million different sizes. thanx

bore size 3.898-3.900
piston compressionn height/distance 1.338-1.339
-.007-.008 out the hole

while the above information is correct, most folks use a 6.125 rod and a 3.905 piston when upgrading the stock aluminum short block

should i have any clearence problems with a MS3 and 241 heads..unmilled

No, the magic stick should clear the pistons in an otherwise stock application.

what power range n/a is the stock rotating assembly with arp rod bolts and main cap bolts good for reliably? In other words if someones power goal is less than 450 rear wheel n/a is it worth upgrading pistons and rods? Even with a 100 shot on top of that it should hold it all just fine shouldnt it?

450 HP is fine on the stock shortblock using ARP harware. A hundred shot on top of that is pushing it, but chances are that itll hold. Pistons will fail first followed by rods. The crank and block will hold a ton of power, however the heads might lift.
