Default How much power would I leave on the table if...

I used my AFR 205's with 60cc chambers and 1-3/4" headers on a 402.

I'm thinking seriously of buying a forged short block from one of the vendors here but I don't really want the exspense of a new set of heads and new headers. Would using my old ones still net me decent power?

Appreciate any input.

What valve sizes? Im sure those small runners are gonna choke you out a bit with all those cubic inches. Maybe you could have someone open them up alittle more?

Standard valve sizes 2.02 intake and 1.60 exhaust.

If I had to I could sell them and buy the 225's. I'm just looking at saving some bucks.

I would match according to CID. You still might be able to get some good money for those 205's IMO. I would sell and try and get a set of 225's and maybe some 1 7/8's headers. That is if you can afford to go that route. That would literally be the top option.
