Default Pushrods

Where can a buy some stock pushrods for an ls1. I think I have a bent one and i need to replace it. I am under the impressing that upgrading to chromoly pushrods without having better springs is bad. Any unput?

why only buy 2 or 3 now? Why don't you go ahead and do the upgrade now and save a few bucks?

Cause someone, I cant remember who, was telling me that upgrading tp hardened pushrods while still using stock springs can be very bad. If he hadnt told me that I would have already bought hardened pushrods. Is this true or not? Should I just upgrade now?

There are some who view the stock pushrods as a failsafe for a missed shift. Personally, I prefer the hardened pushrods since they are stiffer if you get the 0.080 wall which most of them are. I would get them now, and if you have an automatic, the missed shift issue is not existant anyhow.

Over-rev and the stock rods will bend and take the abuse before the rest of the valvetrain. With hardened rods they are more likely to transfer the abuse to something else.

Ok so Im prolly just gonna get a couple stock ones untill i change springs. Wait, can I change to dual valve springs and hardened pushrods before I swap cams or should I just wait until I can do it all at once?

I dont think its gonna matter if you swap now. If you have to pull your vavle covers, and your rocker arms, you might as well swap the springs while you're at it. From what Ive read, you wont need dual springs unless you're going with a big cam. Someone please correct me if Im wrong about any of this...
