Default Next Upgrade...Cam or Nitrous?

My current upgrades are listed in my signature. I'm trying to figure out what I should do next. I'm pretty sure its either going to be a Cam or Nitrous. What do you think?

Are you an A4 guy? If so I would reccomend getting a stall before you get either. If not you can't go wrong with either setup. Both are going to provide good HP increase over stock, but IMO I'd go cam first. Also didn't see an intake upgrade in the mod list do you have an LS6 already? If not that would be something else to look into.

Got an M6, And still have LS1 Intake...I know, I need better, but I'd like to do a few other things first.

i did nitrous before anything else and these cars LOVE the juice. a guy that lives around here has only a lid and a 125 shot and runs 11.7@118 everything else is stock down to the tires. stock stall and no suspension upgrades

I would do a cam before N20.. N20 is only fun when the bottle is full.. With a good cam and tune you could have 400 RWHP all the time.. And then add N20 after that and you will be in a whole new ball game..

"nos is like crack for your car, might not kill ya the first time you use it but sooner or later its gonna catch up w/ ya"

just my 2 cents. i personally am getting a cam in the near future, nos you have to pay to play with everytime. a cam is a one time purchase.

i went with n2o as my very first mod and couldn't have been any happier doing it. hitting the n2o on and seeing the cam only car you're racing next to you fall back into your rearview mirror is priceless

Cam it. If you plan on doing nitrous on top of it, you will want to get a good split pattern cam for spray that will still be awesome N/A. You wont be on a constant spray, so plan appropriately. 99% will be non-spray.

I dont know about you guys, but I dont mess around on the street that much. But should the opportunity arise, IMHO I think I would much rather have a 150 shot than a cam. I still could keep my daily drivablity and leave everything untouched.

But if you want a big cam and a good daily driver with 150 horses to match that shot of nitrous, prepare to throw some change on the counter. But thats just my preference. Depends on if you race alot. Or if you are in a cop infested area.

Problem with NOS is how many times have you wanted to run and then have to open the bottle or can't run cuz have no juice. No one runs on a full bottle and heated to the correct temp all the time. With a nice cam the power is there all of the time!!!!!!!!!!

It's nice to have a cam.....that way you can have an 11 second car all the time, and not just when your bottle is opened and full.

by reading your mods it looks like you already have a cam... maybe im the only one who saw this but why change it out if your already making 400. put a nitrous kit on it you will like a nitrous kit way more and trust me that bottle will always have nitrous in it if you want it to
