Default Average price to replace Thrust bearing in engine

What is the average price to put a new Thrust bearing in the bottom end. I heard that the engine will not need to be rebuilt for this but obviously the engine will need to come out.

You have to drop the tranny, and it's on the backside of the crankshaft. You can easily do it yourself

The Throwout Bearing is not in the engine or the trans... Its in the bellhousing on the clutch setup..

The PILOT BEARING is located in the rear of the crankshaft and the motor does not have to be removed to install a new one. Just drop the trans and clutch and flywheel..

But, I don't think you know exactly what you are talking about though..
