Default Comp Cams #1500 install

I tried to install this system and ended up bending every valve.

They supplied the same length as stock pushrod.

Needs to be almost .250 shorter then stock, but you really need to measure to be sure.

Never assume you are getting the right parts for modding.

OOPS!

.250 shorter

That is a 7.150 p-rod, just turning it by hand should have given you a clue.

OK OK, Ya don't need to beat up on me.

I asked the right questions (I thought) before I got anything and I was supplied "everything I needed".

It also turns out that I am like the 2nd person to install the system so I joined the guina pig club.

Just turned out I needed a valve job too!!! DOH!

They should not have even supplied pushrods.

But the ultimate "blame" rests at my feet.

Live and learn.

Preload is .030 not .300!

MOD HELL
