Default Approx. weight of LM7 short block

Ok, heres the deal. I have an LM7 short block (bottom end in, acc. bracket on front and oil pan on) in my garage that needs rebuilt. It's sitting on the floor right now, and I need to get it on my engine stand. Therein lies the problem, as I don't own a cherry picker. I'm wondering about how much this thing weights, I have the spindle for the engine stand bolted up and I'm thinking maybe if I round up 2 or 3 buddies we can just lift it up and slide it in the stand. So, how big of a hernia are we looking at?

Lets give this another try... how about the weights of similar engines, like an LS1 or the 6.0?

It's doable. I had two buddies help me get a sbc longblock off of my garage floor and another friend lined the stand up with the piece that was bolted to the block. Wasn't that big a deal. Used long bolts for handles. And that was an iron block and iron heads. Hope this helps.
