LSX engins = Generation III and IV small blocks

Those in the silverado are Generation II small blocks I believe. If not the Generation one L98s.

I think the ones with Vortec heads are Generation II and similar to the LT1. Not positive.

the L31 Vortec heads will bolt on your TBI truck with this intake manifold

The Vortec L31 350 heads use a raised runner and 8 intake bolts vs. your TBI low runner with 12 intake bolts. Grab that intake, maybe some 454 TBI injectors, an ECM tune and you are set for at least 35-50 hp.
