Default who's running T&D rockers, i have questions

when you recieved your rockers what all did you get in the box? just the rockers on the shaft, the shims, and the bolts is all that i recieved. also, my T&Ds showed up with "COMP" stamped on them, does Comp Cams make them for T&D or something? thanks

Sounds like you bought my old ones. Those shims do not come with the rockers. I made those because they were needed to correct the valvetrain geometry for my longer valves on my solid roller setup. If you dont have longer valves you probably wont need them.

The newer Comps are in fact made by T&D. The only difference is the "Comp" stamped on the top and the price. The Comps are usually advertised about $50 more. No clue why excpet maybe the name.

The guy you bought those from apparently had them up for sale as T&Ds because of my original post in the FS section. They were labeled as Comp (T&D) as to not confuse them with the previous Comp (DRE) rockers that were anodized red and made by DRE. The DRE's had some issues with some models (not LS1 AFAIK) and had too many returns for Comp...so they just went with the T&Ds. The DRE's are very similair to the Patriots for the LS1. Which AFAIK work good on the LS1.

All they come with are the rockers, the stands, and bolts. The shims I made. Any other questions you can feel free to PM me.

be sure to ask whoever is doing your heads if the valves are longer than stock. That will really determine if they will be needed or not.

Do you know what lift cam you will be running?
