Default Spring swap questions

Hello

I am planning on swapping out my stock springs for a set of 918's. I have a procharged 97 C5 with stock internals. Can someone shed some light on the following questions?

1. Will I need to buy new retainers or can I reuse the stock ones?

2. Is there any special order/instructions for removing and installing these springs? I have read they need to be torqued them down to 22#'s. Can I just replace one spring at a time and torque down the new one to 22#'s. Or do I have to remove all the springs and install them in a certain order with the pistons at TDC or BDC?

Thanks

You can use the stock retainers.

You don't torque down springs. You're thinking rocker arms.

I would opt for Comp retainers, which fit better than stock. The Crane/Vinci tool is the best out there I have seen.
